The Chenango Canal Towpath Trail follows the path of the historic Chenango Canal. It covers almost eight miles from the Village of Hamilton to Solsville. The areas near Woodman Pond are especially favored by birdwatchers. The terrain is mostly flat, but the trail surface is uneven in places.
